Mattress Care

  • Yes, we highly encourage the use of mattress protectors to protect your new mattress from stains. Mattress protects also prevent dust mites, bed bugs and allergens from building up in your mattress.

  • Our Chattam & Wells mattresses are made with the highest quality raw materials and therefore should never become wet. We understand accidents do happen, an in the event it does come wet, please soak up as much liquid as possible using a towel and allow the mattress to thoroughly air dry before re-covering.

  • We generally do not recommend the use of any type of cleaners on our mattresses however In the event you have a stain on your mattress that you must try to remove, you may be able to clean it with a gentle textile cleaner or furniture foam however there is a small chance the cleaner could discolor the fabric. We always suggest testing a small area first.

  • Ensure your mattress is well wrapped. If it will be stored for an extended time we recommend the mattress be stored flat.

  • You sure can! The handles are securely attached and we encourage you to use them to turn or relocate your mattress.

  • We recommend you rotate your mattress every 60 days to ensure an even break in process.

  • Our Chattam and Wells mattresses use only the highest quality raw materials, natural fibers and building techniques. Because of this, our mattresses require 90 days to hit their life long firmness level.

  • Your new Chattam & Wells mattress comes with a 10 Year Non-Prorated warranty. Please visit chattamandwells.com/warranty for details.

  • No, the buttons (tufts) should not be removed as this would compromise the structural integrity of the mattress and would void your warranty.
